Mark 3:24 "And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand."

Where Has Your Country Gone?

Tuesday, July 21, 2020 … Elizabeth Cuppett Caverly

The hot summer in America is filled – not with county fairs, cotton candy and children’s delighted laughter.  No, instead we have St. Louis couple Mark and Patricia McCloskey, about to be indicted, grace à leftist prosecutor Kim Gardiner, for defending themselves at their home against a mob of hundreds that threatened their lives, their dog’s life and their home with being burned down.  The charge?  Unlawful use of firearms.  McCloskey, a lawyer for the disadvantaged, might be looking at four years in prison!

July saw 254 wounded and 64 dead in the urban jungle that is Chicago.  Portland, with its violent mayhem going on now for more than two months, blames the Trump Administration’s offers to help, even as just lately the Portland Police officers’ Union building was set on fire.  Local radio talk show host Jason Rantz sums up the violent chaos as “Marxism breaking down the current system of capitalism in order to build their new system.”
